Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co has bolstered its Mumbai-based corporate practice with the addition of partner Harshita Srivastava, who joins from Nishith Desai Associates, where she was head of private equity and M&A.

Srivastava brings 16 years of experience in private equity investments, exits, and cross-border M&A. She has spent most of her career at NDA, except two year in-house at Nexus Venture Partners.

She was also a member of the SEBI Committee instituted in 2018 for the setup of the Innovative Growth Platform (a listing platform for startups) in India.

“Her extensive experience in cross-border M&A, private equity investments, and deal structuring will add considerable strength to our general corporate practice,” said managing partners Akshay Chudasama and Pallavi Shroff in a statement.

Meanwhile NDA has seen a string of partner exits in recent times including Vyapak Desai and Alipak Banerjee.
