CAM, Khaitan, S&R, White & Case guide Knowledge Realty Trust’s 4,800cr IPO
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised Knowledge Realty Trust REIT, its manager and one of its sponsors Blackstone, on KRT’s initial public offer comprising a fresh issuance of units worth INR 4,800 crore. S&R Associates advised the other sponsor: Sattva Developers, while Khaitan & Co and White & Case advised the book running lead managers.
The BRLMs comprised Kotak Mahindra Capital, Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, ICICI Securities, IIFL Capital Services, JM Financial, SBI Capital Markets and Morgan Stanley India.
KRT is backed by the Blackstone and Sattva Developers, and is the largest office REIT in India and the second largest office REIT in Asia. Its portfolio comprises 29 office assets spread across 6 major cities in India, making it the most geographically diverse office REIT in India. Some of the assets under REIT include One BKC, Sattva Knowledge City, One International Center and Sattva Softzone.
CAM’s capital markets team comprised of partner Janhavi Manohar, senior associate Sachin Santuka, senior associate designate Subham Jain, and associates Adwait Deshmukh, Arjun Nair, Isha Tandon, Nimisha Sharma, Parikha Rathi, Prakhar Jain, Siddhant Mehta and Prerna Sengupta, with guidance from senior partner Yash J. Ashar and partner Kranti Mohan.
The deal also included CAM’s corporate team including senior partner Reeba Chacko, and partners S. Harish, Emil Joseph, Mohit Gogia, Trayosha Darapuneni, and Pooranimaa Hariharan. Real estate partners Abhilash Pillai, Ashish Jain, Jaideep Kodali, Jinal Mehta, Karan Sharma, Ritha Ulbyre, and Siddharth Singh also assisted on the deal.
CAM partners Avaantika Kakkar and Kaustav Kundu (antitrust); Pranav Sharma and Okram Singha (finance); Ankoosh K Mehta and Aviral Sahai (disputes) also advised on the deal.
Khaitan’s core deal team was led by partners Subhayu Sen, Aayush Mohata, Aparna Bagree, and included Dipsa Prasanth, Hrithik Khurana, Ira Pandya, Sarjana Das, Kaushlendra Singh Palawat, Sairandhri Nawale, Harshit Singh and Mythri Murali. The real estate team advising on the deal included partners Harsh Parikh and Abhiraj Gandhi, and counsel Rishabh Vora.
The S&R capital markets team advising Sattva was led by partners Sandip Bhagat and Pratichi Mishra, and included associates Siddharth Urs, Anmol Kanodia, and Shiv Kumar Sharma. Partner Meher Mehta also advised on the deal.
