NEW DELHI: The Allahabad High Court on Monday acquitted the two prime accused in the Nithari murder case.
The court found accused Surender Koli innocent in the 12 cases against him, while co-accused Moninder Singh Pandher was found innocent in two cases against him.
Sixteen cases were lodged against Pandher and his domestic help Surender Koli for serial killings in 2005 and 2006.
The Nithari murders were committed between 2005 and 2006 and had come to light in December 2006 when skeletons were found in a drain near a house in Nithari, Noida. Moninder Pandher was the owner of the house and Koli was his domestic help.
